2024 was a banner year for our Association! Eight courts are slated to be built at the Beast on the east side, and six more at Skyline Youth Park in northeast are under conversion. Our advocacy made this happen. Your dues make this possible.

Six Dedicated, Public Pickleball Courts to Open

Quick Update From Manzano Mesa in Albuquerque

There are several charity ladder tournaments that are not listed here but at abqpickleball.org. Below are the tournaments that are formatted by skill and age, pool play, playoffs with registration at pickleball.com and more information at abqpickleball.org.

1. Carrie Tingley Pickleball Palooza on April 25-27. Monies go to Carrie Tingley hospital. There will be a children's tent, food trucks, and a beer tent). $60 registration, covers singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.

2. Older Americans Month Tournament (formerly called NM Aging and Long Term Services) on May 17th and 18th. This a free tournament for NM residents. In spite of the name it is for ages 18+. 304 players in last years tournament.

3. ABQ Pickleball Labor Day Classic on Aug 30-Sep 1. $40 registration covers all events. Singles, Doubles and mixed doubles.

4. NM Games on Sep 19-21. $55 registration covers all events. Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles
